"Catherine Cartwright gave us a most informative tour and talk about some of the hidden corners of Chelsea. We finished by having a delicious, al fresco lunch in the Chelsea Physic Garden. Strongly recommended ... and perhaps some of you may feel tempted to join us another time?"
Polly Pendrell

"Thank you so much for leading and guiding a walk for our heritage trail. I wish I had joined you because everyone said how interesting you were and how you led people to discover so many secret places. I was very pleased by the buzz we created and at the pleasure of so many East Enders showed that we all value their history and heritage. You were wonderful and we are SO grateful."
Diana Beattie, Heritage of London Trust

"It was then off to the City, where I would meet London Undone tour guide Catherine Cartwright - a walking encyclopaedia. I always knew London had history but I never realised how interesting it was until I had met Catherine. Funny that a girl from Newport would make me see London in a different light."
Ben Wright, South Wales Evening Post

Catherine's talk was packed full of interesting information and very enthusiastically delivered. She was very good at holding the attention and of her diverse group and her route was well thought out. Thanks to her I have discovered a Jewish cemetery hidden behind a university and a new interest in East London that goes beyond the usual gangster stories.

"Very many thanks for the wonderful walk you gave us. We all enjoyed it so very much and if you heard all the things the others said about you - you might even go pink!"
Lady Wright

"Hi Catherine, Just a quick note to say how much I enjoyed your tour around the National Gallery this morning. I also liked the way you seemed to personalise your discussion of each painting with how it personally affected you. Your descriptions were excellent teasing out the little details that are what makes visiting a gallery with a guide all the more enjoyable."
Tony

"Your enthusiasm about London is palpable. Thank you for sharing it with us as well as all your special little "surprises". I'm sure we saw with you many sights that many Londoners don't even see. We appreciated your prodigious knowledge about English history. But more importantly, we loved being with you. Thank you for generously spending so much of your time with us. We were thrilled to have found you. What luck!!"

As Americans who had spent two years living in London, it was a true pleasure to discover the city in a new way. Catherine designed the perfect tour based on our experiences and interests, taking us to exciting new areas in addition to shedding new light on familiar places. Not only is Catherine an extremely knowledgeable guide, but she is also incredibly friendly, which made for a perfect day exploring the city of London. I can’t wait to return and learn more about this marvellous city with Catherine.
Heather Hund & Robin Bot-Miller, San Francisco

Catherine started our London adventure in Notting Hill before taking us across the city by foot, car, rail and boat to end at the Royal Greenwich Observatory. Our group had a fantastic time! She was patient and helpful, picking out great photo opportunities and places to sit and discuss the history behind a monument, cathedral or park. Somehow, Catherine even made the weather agree with us! Her breadth and depth of knowledge was quite impressive, and she was able to mix up the itinerary to suit our interests. Whether you are looking for an in-depth investigation of Medieval or Baroque London or a lively jaunt in the City through the eyes of a local, Catherine is a uniquely talented and friendly guide. I'd recommend her to anyone wishing to explore London.
