2012 Olympics

London hosted the 2012 Olympic Games. The last extensive area of industrial wilderness in central London has been converted into this sporting Mecca. Weaving their way around the new aquatics centre, main stadium and the velodrome flow the Bow Back Rivers. A new 500 acre park was created to host the games. Whether you are interested in architecture, sports, East End life, geology and infrastructure, this is a fascinating and new side of London called E20.  However it's not just a place to admire the new, because there are infinite historical curiosities to whet your appetite.
