OUT OF TOWN
Devon and Cornwall
The South Western tip of England is full of narrow, hedge-lined roads leading to secluded beaches and quaint fishing towns. All of Devon and Cornwall is charming and unspoiled. Because it is hard to reach (there is no motorway through it), it is remote and unspoiled. But there are dark sides to these two counties... Dartmoor and Exmoor wildernesses are wild and rugged territories which have inspired writers and artists for centuries. Only the moor ponies seem unafraid to weather the harsh conditions. If it's gardening you like then there are many fine English gardens open to the public including the giant Eden Project, giant conservatory and greenhouse charting flora from around the world.
“I certainly have no plans to leave London. It's a great town.”
