OUT OF TOWN

Stratford and Warwick Castle

Stratford is a favourite for all visitors to England who wish to visit the birthplace of Britain's most famous writer and dramatist, Shakespeare. Not only are there modern theatres here playing Shakespeare's work, but there are the houses associated with Shakespeare and his family. The town is close to the medieval Warwick Castle. As castles go, this is mostly complete and unspoiled and gives you a flavour of living in a castle from the medieval period right up to the 20th century. Overlooking the Warwickshire countryside, the views from the towers are far reaching and fabulous.

“I certainly have no plans to leave London. It's a great town.”
